Plumbing is the backbone of any structure. No family or business could exist without it. Water is necessary to life and getting fresh water into your home or office and getting waste water out are essential. Plumbing problems unfortunately are inevitable. They usually start small and then grow. Structures can be damaged or destroyed if the problems are serious enough.

The plumbing problems most often encountered by our residential and commercial customers are slow or backed up drains. Barring any problems with the municipal waste water system, most often the backup is caused by a partial or full clog. This clog can be located inside the structure, under the foundation of the structure or between the structure and the city connection.

There are several reasons why sewage pipes get clogged. Age can take a toll on pipes. They may rust, corrode and calcify. Stress or ground shifts can cause structural damage. A pipe can be crushed, break or come apart at the joints. These degradations can cause slow drainage at first and full-blown backups later. When these problems occur under the structural foundation, it can be a major expense to rectify. The reason most often found is a foreign object that has entered the lines hampering the flow of waste water. This could be caused by many things including a toy flushed down the toilet drain, soap and hair in the shower drain or grease in the kitchen drain.

A major clog can be caused by a tree root that has grown into the line at a crack or a seam. Tree roots grow into a drain slowly but eventually will stop the flow completely.

These and many other objects introduced to the system can cause major clog problems that, if left uncorrected can cause slow drainage, backups and overflows. Eventually this will result in noxious fumes, regurgitation of undesirable substances or flooding inside the residence or business.

It is always better to call us at the first signs of drainage problems. In this way we can eliminate a nuisance before it becomes a serious problem. We will give you a quote of the project cost up front so there should be no surprises and your our satisfaction with our work is guaranteed.

SEWER & DRAIN CLEANING
For simple interior clogs, a general cleaning should be all that is required. Our crew will conduct the clearing of sewers and drains by snaking or auguring to remove the clog, making sure it is clean and returning a desirable draining speed to the sink, shower, etc.

DRAINS SEWERS CLEARANCE & REPAIR
If the problem appears to be under or outside the structure, we will use a drain camera to locate the problem and recommend corrective action. These cameras can find breaks or cracks in the line, and can locate any tree roots that have taken up residence inside the line. The procedure at this point would be to jet the line or use cutters to remove the blockage whether it is a root or calcification. After the cleaning procedure, a reline may be needed.

SEWER LINING
In most cases these sewage conduits can be relined or repaired in place and there would be no need to destroy the yard or landscape or dig up the structures flooring. A liner for the entire sewer can be put into place eliminating leaks and drain stoppage. A viable alternative to replacing the entire cylinder would be to replace only a section adhering it with epoxy. The epoxy would then become a barrier to the growth of roots or the adhesion of calcite.

SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT
From time to time it becomes necessary to replace the entire sewer line. Lines for older homes were generally constructed of cast iron or clay. After years of use and exposure the structural integrity of the sewer is weakened or destroyed. If after a comprehensive inspection it is decided that repairs are not feasible, our crew will take steps to install a new trenchless sewer line working mostly underground in order not to destroy the lot, create a dangerous situation or inconvenience the residents for any longer than necessary. These techniques perfected by the Trenchless Company will help guarantee a drainage system that is stronger that its predecessor.
