Just a few miles further south is Paradise Cove a lesser known special beach in a cove where the movie du jour is apt to be made. For years James Garner hung out there as a private eye on the TV show The Rockford files.
Practically next door is Pt. Dume, the former neighborhood of Johnny Carson, which sits in a quiet residential neighborhood along with many other super stars homes.
A little farther south on the bluffs is Corral Beach, just before you get to the famous Malibu Beach Colony. The Adamson House Museum and Serra Retreat are within a stones throw.
Carbon Beach and La Costa Beach are closer to town, (Santa Monica is referred to as town), Moon Shadows Restaurant is on Big Rock Beach. Romantics have been soaking in magnificent sunsets at Moonshadows for many moons. At the end of the day there isn’t one part of this town along the Malibu that isn’t breathtakingly beautiful.
